This unique worm drive design features an automatic built-in brake that will prevent the system from coasting. One hydraulic motor is utilized per tower. Oil is supplied to the motor by high pressure steel lines and fittings. A variable flow control valve regulates direction, speed and, when required, provides an optional safety for misalignment.
